Where is this password you're talking about? Is it for the Windows account itself (admin) or Norton?
I would try Ophcrack or Konboot. Both are bootable utilities, she's not going to be able to prevent you from using a boot utility.
The password is for the Windows account itself.
And the two programs both were deleted by my antivirus
Burn CDLinux. It's a linux distro so Norton should not delete it, you should be able to burn it from the ISO. Then boot into that and do the sethc.exe trick.
Ok, I downloaded it and extracted it fine. No virus. So, I burn it to a blank DVD? How do I "boot it up?"
You've never booted from a CD before? Select the boot device from the boot menu or change your boot priority in the BIOS and put the make sure the CD is in when your computer starts up.
No, I haven't. Is that a bad thing?
Anyways, is that the F8 trick thing?
