I didn't say It was unique to Adidas, but rather commenting on the topic at hand.

Depending on the nature of personal details breached (usernames, passwords, PIN codes, phone numbers etc), every other online account pertaining to a given user, can also be compromised thereafter, hence "subsequent loss".
