Hey everyone, I'd like to keep in touch with all of you without the need of creating a thread. The IRC continuously crashes on me for whatever reason (both on Ubuntu & Windows 7) so feel free to add my Skype handle!

I don't really trust Skype, what are you using to log into the IRC? You using the browser, browser plugin or stand alone client? For Linux I would recommend Xchat (I think there is a Windows version too) works perfectly for me and allows some nice options

Mmm ya, i dont use or trust skype either. When it comes to chatting with strangers online, IRC is pretty much it.

I use skype but block all outside connections and VPN all the time. Its sad bud a necessity

Skype API's are removed because of to much abuses to gain IP's so it's prety much fixed with those IP stealing issue's
