Yeah the KMS tools are the best for this, I used the online activation option in the tool and now I don't need to activate Windows 10 Pro ever since the license is linked to my Microsoft account LOL.

I've heard that the KMS activation expires after X days. Is it true?

Depends on the activation method, HWID activation is the method that is permanent (and is linked to the Microsoft account), the online method lasts 180 days, and the kms38 method lasts until the year 2038.

I don't like to check scripts for exploits etc.

That's why I rather run an "test" KMS server in docker. That gives me that additional layer of security and it's still very convenient.

Haven't tried it out but the server should still work with Windows 11 - the underlying protocol should be the same.
The difference should be the activation key. You can google for KMS keys for W11 or look it up in the scripts ...

As far as I understand the Windows installation is always the same. The difference between regular and Pro version is the Licence key.
So both the script as well as the Server solution should be able to do it. You just need to pick the right key.

Don't use Win activation scripts. Use the one provided - all other activators are scams, usually malicious in nature. Windows provides a 90-day trial version for development purposes as well on their main site if you're looking for a simple VM for testing applications, software, etc.

Again, it is not recommended to trust any other "install WIndows the easy way!" scripts. They are most likely malware.

Only aсtivate with the open source KMS_VL_ALL tool.

Since it's a Batch file, you can check the code yourself and verify there's no malicious code whatsoever.

It's worked well.
