AMD Or Intel 2 #1
I kind of have the same issue as the last guy but it's between two specific CPU's. I'm looking as to which would be the better one.

Use this site.

It compares two CPUs and gives a detailed report. Of course, It also benchmarks other hardware components.

Slight problem. The site doesn't have the Gpus I want to compare and I found the site in which you got that picture from but I don't live there. I don't believe I have enough for a reship.

It's a shame about the reship, those prices are very hard to beat.

I'll see what I can find during my travels on the net.

Right now AMD and Intel are head to head, between the 5950X and the 12900K... Better things are coming soon and there's no telling who will end up on top. That said, if you're without a decent laptop either of those will do the job.

Because of the known overclocking issues. You can't even unlock them easily. I'd go with the Intel i5 to get the best gaming experience at that price. You should look around for one of the laptops from Asus for less than 1k if you're looking for more RAM and better threading.

At that range would 100% recommend the sub-$1000 Asus laptops as well. A used/refurbished Nitro from Acer might do the trick as well.

^ This.

As I keep mentioning, I fully recommend Acer. My systems have been subjected to countless hours of pounding, and they're still running without any loss of functionality.

Just a message to the OP, AMD or Intel, well it depends because like what Oni said, they are already head to head. Processors are almost all the same even if you do contests, it's just a matter of how you use your computer, what processes you run, and what things you do with your computer.
