You can install multiple tunnels on one VPS server... However, this is not an either - or decision. If you go for that you should link a second independent VPN provider to fully exploit the potential. If I have to choose then I would also pic a classic OpenVPN solution - totally agree with you
I'm talking about the Tor circuits and how Tor is designed. I can't tell you how many times I have had to explain to clients how Tor actually works.
