My last name (Fein) is pronounced "fine" which is why the title is spelled that way so. This was an old writing that I did some time ago and thought I'd bring it back. Let me know what you guys think.
Life. What is it really meant to be? What are we really here for? Is there even a reason to life? Is there even a definition to life? Is there even "life" as we know it, or is this just an illusion. An abstract painting. A problem we search the solution for, but as we think we grow closer, we're only getting further. Many of us have different interpretations of life. It's a common thought process and for some of us, it creeps us out. I think that many of us are just around here looking for answers and reasons why things happen. I personally, don't. Forget the "everything happens for a reason" and all those corny lines we've all heard before. Some of you really need a swift kick in the rear and open your eyes. I'd like to introduce a concept called "Living A Fein Life" as I like to put it.
What do I believe? I believe life is just the next step we take, the next breath we take, the next. Everything that's happening as we speak, as we type, as you read. Personally, no one gives a crap about you, or at least they shouldn't. We all focus on ourselves and as selfish as it is, we're the only ones who should matter. Forget your friends, forget your wife or your husband, forget your family. Life comes down to one human and that's you. You decide to walk out the door today, not mom or dad. Who is actually controlling you from skipping school today? Those rules on the board are only there to look at. There's no physical restraint on you that's actually holding you back. Mentally, you are blinded thinking that this class is actually going to help you in life but in reality, is it? Does sitting down listening to Mrs. Jones speak every day actually help you?
Life should only be based around one objective and one only. Happiness. You need to slap that frown off your face and smile. Everyone says it to you because well, it's true. You need to do everything you need to do to make today, a good day. Who the hell is promising tomorrow? Who is giving you even 2 minutes from now? A freak accident for all we know could happen and you'll be read about in the funny papers. You'll just be another stone in the yard for people to look at and acknowledge. So seriously, why are you still reading? If you've gotten this far, I'll admit that I'm surprised. I guess I'm making you smile and happy. Otherwise, you're not fulfilling your objective.
Religion, probably the most screwed conversation to even discuss, but we're going to do this anyway. People believe in God, but what does "God" even mean? God has so many different definitions in this world, but physical evidence is false in many ways. The Bible as many claim it to be, could have been just written by the US Government and placed in your children's textbooks as a symbol of a God. Why do I capital "God" you might ask? I do believe in God since I am a Christian, but I'm not a die hard. I'm simply a believer and that someone up there must be pulling our strings. Full proof? No. But I'm just doing what makes me happy. Anyway, there's no significan proof of any religion for that matter. Even Atheism is false because there's no proof that there is no God. In reality, they're all beliefs and were given to us to differentiate many instead of having 4 billion of the same people, beliefs, and likes.
Now take a look to your right, and now to your left, and now look up. If you followed my instructions, you're a moron because I have just manipulated your life. That was easy wasn't it? If it was that easy, then you're going to need some re-education. Realize that you're free to do anything you want and believe whatever you want. It's your life and no one can tell you what to do. Too much time is wasted on trying to become something and prove people something and be famous. All that bologna that in seriousness, you're just another 1 out of 4 billion people on the planet Earth. What makes Chris Brown so much different that Johnny 2x4 across the street? Maybe the fact that Chris Brown is an abusive woman lover and Johnny 2x4 doesn't have the cameras in his face 25/8, but otherwise, they're just another pawn on the board of life.
Money, now that's a topic eh? If I haven't heard it enough, money makes the world go around. Time is money. Money, green, cash, bills, whatever you call it is actually what makes 99.9% of this world happy. If you're a broke dude on the side of the street and warming up next to the squirrel that just ate your McChicken, are you really happy right now? Ask me that question and I'll be sure to slap more than the frown off your face. Let's face it that if you have money, you're happy. However, the amount you have may not always raise your happiness. For those who have a lot are either spoiled, annoying, didn't work for a cent, or are just gifted in some way, shape, or form. No one makes 2 million a year and dishes out french fries at McDonalds or graduates college and decides to come out with something "awesome" which comes to be a complete and total failure.
Friends, family, relationships are probably the main reason why some of us are still not only alive, but smiling. Getting on a more realistic note on this topic, we all have had our fights with these people. Why do we keep them around? There's something that person does that makes us happy or brings some kind of enjoyment. Not matter how hard someone denies it, there's happiness somewhere there. If you're seriously still in denial that your abusive ex-boyfriend is an absolute shitface and does nothing to make you happy and you still keep him around saying "I have to" then you are one dumb bitch. That works for both sexes so I don't need sexism to play in effect here. We may remove someone for a short period of time to make us feel slightly better, but if you bring that person back in, you did more pain to yourself removing that person from your life to begin with. You may not think so, but going to bed that night, you still cried about their sweet nothings they once whispered in your ear. You deny your ex ever cared or loved you because it makes you feel better but deep down, they chose you because you had something. I can understand the certain few that were mentally screwed, but there was still action towards you and they obviously saw something they wanted and would make them happy. Call it messed up, but yes sometimes people own features that they will be used for. It's sadly the way some people tick behind it all.
Where do I stand behind all of this? Let me give you my "real" input on this. My name is Matthew Fein. I enjoy being happy, no matter what it takes. I make many mistakes in life and I will continue to do so. I look out for other's feelings more than my own. That does get me in trouble many times. I only do what I enjoy doing and if I'm doing something I'm not happy with, don't plan on seeing me continue with whatever that may be. I believe that there has been at least one solidary second on this planet where everyone has been happy. Too many people try finding the answer to something they should be asking the question about. Life lessons happen every day, every hour, every minute. I'm very sarcastic and hyper, but I don't plan on changing for those who don't enjoy it. I don't believe in 2012, I only believe in myself. I love coming up with wise quotes and words of wisdom. Metal music makes me mosh uncontrollably at times. I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to the opposite sex. I parade myself as an icon, but I'm just a mere page in the chapter of society. On paper, I'm a piece of shit, but in reality, I'm much worse. The internet is the reason why I'm so mentally corrupted. I don't believe in karma, only time of events. No one ever deserves anything bad happen in their life, but it will always happen. No one is perfect, but no one is the worst. I will never believe in the perfect relationship, I only believe in someone trying their best to give someone the best. I wish I never hurt anyone's feelings, but that's sadly just another chapter in life. I'm going to experience everything in life and be like everyone else, but I will do it in a different fashion. Last but not least, I never sell myself short. Anyone that doesn't think highly of themselves shouldn't be given an opportunity to live. Every situation can be worse and better. Make the best of it and remember that everyone get's one life and only one. Don't ruin the only thing you have.
