It's just weird because even with more and more people vaccinated, it seems it will never make as big of a difference until every country is about 80 percent vaccinated to a herd immunity level.

The problem Is, when new virus strains are In circulation, current vaccines are not equipped to defend & Immune.

10 people are afraid of the virus. while

Not true, at least at the moment, the third wave is more pronounced in the US and UK as also some other developed countries. Daily cases are rapidly increasing there. It is predicted that India will have third wave by August peaking after a month. The worrying part is that miniscule percentage of citizens in India are vaccinated. Vaccine shortage and hesitancy is the main reason. So fingers crossed.
