Hello, there are two things I would like to talk with you about today. First, I want to talk about how hacking has changed the mind of individuals as it used to be more professional, or at least the history of hacking. And then I want to move onto what many of you might find more interesting, although not unrelated, topic, and that’s the question of how this field should change in the years to come. But let me start by talking neither about the past nor about the future of hacking, but about the present. Where do we stand now? What can be changed? This is not an easy question to answer in any simple way. Â
I don’t know how many of you are familiar with the recent years of hacking, however, back in the recent years many were not stealing Twitter, YouTube, Xbox, or PlayStation accounts. I remember many being focused on governmental operations, attacking banks, or credit card fraud. The new generation of hacking has changed a lot over the years and has even gone further to swatting, threatening and showing off. It's completely stupid and has gone too far over the years.
Personally, I do not believe you should be threatening individuals, or even calling them script kiddies. "Why not?", you may ask. That's a good question, but a valid response is, why worry about what they are stealing from others, and worry about what they are knowledgeable in, which you aren't. I believe in the years to come it'll get worse, and many individuals will be targetted by retards. I know many people who steal things to create software, scripts, documents, or even lines of coding to complete their own project, however, they do understand a lot and they are not script kiddies like most individuals. I am hoping in the years to come people will come together in hacktivist projects, or partner up and go against the government. A lot of things in this world are still remaining to be true, false, or misleading and can be proved differently by hacktivists.
