Not worth. They're outdated within one-two years and you're paying $1000+ for something you already know is obsolete.

This has always been thrown around at me. I have heard by others that one is better on is not and all that. But I think if I can pay $900 for a macbook I can try and use that money for a really good ThinkPad. I have a week before a decision needs to be made.

Literally.
It's a good idea to sort of cover all the spectrum and that laptop does. I'm not speaking out of my ass because I own one. It's a good investment as it'll last you awhile and it's got a decent sized screen. It'll last you AT LEAST 3+ years and that's around twice as long what a Mac will last. Furthermore, Windows is obviously a lot more versatile than OS X.

Apple computers are only good in a business and or design setting.
Superior file organization as well as running creative suite natively.
If you're a designer get one, if you're a gamer don't.

File organization is really a choice. I mean, I know they color code their "files", but that's not worth $1000. It's mainly for designers.
