Could you post a screenshot of your hardware as @"mothered" requested.

You can find detailed information with Speccy (from piriform).

OR follow these steps:

Code:

1) Press CTRL + R and type in "dxdiag" (diagnostic program from DirectX)
2) Go to the "Screen 1" tab
3) Create a screenshot from the page

It should look like this:

If you have a NVIDIA graphics card, I think you can change the settings through Nvidia experience or Nvidia control panel.
To open this, you press number 1 and 2 (see attached photo below).

It also depends if you need this settings globally or just for 1 program. I wouldn't recommend changing this settings globally if you just need it for 1 program.
