This is understandable. Combolists take little to no effort to make. All you need is a proxy list and a program that can sit in the background while you do nothing. The forum has also been spammed with them constantly since last year.

If people really want to make a contribution, just post accounts in the Account section.

I'm hoping that this change also lowers the prevalence of fake Open Bullet/OB Anomaly/Anomaly crack posts we have seen, that usually contain viruses and PUPs.

You got that right.

At one stage, I was hitting the ban hammer each and every day for months.

I generally try to stay pretty neutral, but these are two sections I wasn't ever fond of. One of the things I value is "playful cleverness". There's nothing playful/clever about a bunch of recycled combos. If someone managed to get a free Brazzers account, kudos to them I guess.

I wonder how many members we lost to this. We had a few I thought were bots but I haven't seen them lately.

The stories and information posted here are artistic works of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything posted here as fact.

Generally with our forum, I figured this went without saying. However, recent discussion has led me to believe otherwise. People are encouraged to read and follow our rules, especially those regarding illegal content. You have been warned - @oni

I would guesstimate about 10-15%, though the majority of that traffic was disingenuous. There's the possibility of us readding the sections in some form, with tighter restrictions on what's allowed. Right now I am not sure what form that would take.

Smart move Oni, as well as the rest of the staff team. Another example of why this forum is still active after 10 years running strong.

Quote: posted combo lists and I don't see anything of value in them.
Agreed.

As said In my other post, many users purely contributed to monetize their links. A lot of combos were dupes and outdated.

Thanks for clarifying about the compromised and combolists section.

Most forums who want to stay online need to disallow certain things so it isn't a surprise to see this.
