New Owner - The Forum Has Been Sold

This is officially my last announcement as the owner of Sinister.ly. I have sold the forum to NekoElf. I believe it to be in good hands, as they have been a member for a number of years (albeit under a different name). I’ve expressed my wishes regarding the forum’s future and hope they will forge forward with those in mind.

Over the past 12 years I’ve had the fortune of meeting lots of awesome people and we’ve made many memories together. While some have come and gone with the passage of time, I’d like to thank everyone for being part of the forum and contributing to what made this site special.

Wishes I’ve conveyed to NekoElf:

• Don’t allow carding, fraud, accounts, or databases. Grey areas are okay, felonies are not.
  
• Sections that are closed/archived should stay that way.
  
• Honor previous upgrades, awards, and advertisements.
  
• Keep things friendly and run the forum with integrity.
  

Stuff I’ve done regarding the handling of your data:

• All private messages have been cleared.
  
• All logs of IP addresses have been cleared.
  
• All passwords are hashed with bcrypt (this isn’t new).
  
• Certain sections have been deleted entirely, posts included.
